
An accomplished performer, Deborah began singing at a young age. She performed in musicals both Edinburgh Acting School and Edinburgh Youth Theatre before beginning her professional training at the University of Northumbria in 1998. She graduated with a 1st Class BA (Hons) Performance degree (which included Acting, Singing, Dance & Physical Theatre) and has since completed a postgraduate diploma at Drama Studio London.
Deborah has worked as a session singer with bands in Edinburgh, Newcastle & London (Stigma, The Psychedelic Breakfast, Allfather), as well as appearing in operas, operettas & concert works. These works include: Hansel & Gretl (Opera Camerata), Andrea Chenier (Edinburgh Grand Opera), and Paul Bunyan (Grange Court Theatre). She also sings with an alternative choir in West London.
Deborah is also an accomplished musical theatre performer and has toured extensively with productions such as Let's Charleston & The Good Old Days (Partytime Productions), Summer Holiday & Lipstick On Your Collar (SG Productions) - the latter gaining her a 5 Star Review. In addition, she is also a talented musician, and reads music fluently, composes, arranges & transcribes pieces, and plays the cello to professional standard.
