Deborah trained at Drama Studio London and continues to work as an actress, singer, musician, voice artist and writer throughout the UK and overseas. In 2011 she co-founded Whoop ‘n’ Wail Theatre Company with Ali Kemp, and their debut production, eXclusion, has played Edinburgh, London and Bracknell throughout 2011 in association with UK charity Women in Prison.
Previous theatrical roles include: Mrs Pugh/Polly Garter & others in Under Milk Wood (Pentameters Theatre), Regan in King Lear (TNT Theatre/ADGE - UK/Latin American tour), Mrs Hoare/Tommy in Kiddy-Fiddler On the Roof (The Bad Taste Ideas Factory), Fluellen/Alice in Henry V (The Wilde Theatre), Lilith in Eve & Lilith (Absolute Finnloch Theatre Company), Hostess of the Garter in The Merry Wives of Windsor (South Hill Park), and performer in There Were Conflicting Versions and Filter for artist Leah Lovett.
A successful voice artist, Deborah has recorded character voices, commercial voiceovers and narrations for a range of companies including Portland TV, London Creative, Take 3, Oxford University Press, 11th Hour Productions, and Roybal Corp (Denver, US). Film roles include Freya in The Honey Trap (Cinema Vigilante), Reporter in Mission London (Fidelity Films), Doreen in Call Me Harry (Script to Screen Productions), Jo in Hotpants Jones (Afrocomb Productions), and Laura in Together Alone (Rakesh Mohun).
